Our principle: data minimization

BloodAnalysis is a free information site with no sign-up and no user account. We apply the principle of data minimization: we collect only what is strictly necessary, we use no tracking or advertising cookies, and we never sell data.

Data controller

The data we process

Analytics (cookieless)

To understand which pages are useful to our visitors, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It sets no cookies, collects no identifying personal data, and does not track visitors across sites. The measurements (page views, referral source, device type, country) are aggregated and anonymous, and the data is processed within the European Union.

Technical connection data

Like any website, our host may log technical data (IP address, date and type of request) for the security and proper operation of the service. These logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

Emails you send us

If you email us at contact@blood-analysis.com, we process your email address and the content of your message solely to reply to you. Please do not send us health data or sensitive information by email: we are not able to provide personalized medical advice.

Purposes and legal bases

• Anonymous analytics — improving the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest (processing with no personal data and no cookies).
• Security and operation — technical logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Replying to your messages — handling requests received by email. Legal basis: legitimate interest / your request.

Cookies

This site uses no analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies. No prior consent is therefore required for such trackers, because we do not set any. Only cookies strictly necessary for the technical operation of the site may be used, and those are exempt from consent.

Recipients and processors

Your data is never sold or transferred for value. It may be processed by our technical providers acting as processors: our host (see the legal notice) and our analytics tool Plausible Analytics, strictly within the purposes described above.

Data hosting & international transfers

Our site runs on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, and the servers in use are located in the United States. Technical data handled by the host (for example connection logs) may therefore be processed in the U.S. For our EU users, this transfer is framed by Google's adherence to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Our analytics tool Plausible Analytics processes its data within the European Union.

Retention periods

• Analytics: aggregated, anonymous data, kept in a non-identifying form.
• Technical logs: kept for a limited period for security purposes.
• Emails: kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived where a legal obligation requires it.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your data, as well as a right to data portability where it applies. To exercise these rights, email contact@blood-analysis.com. We may ask you to verify your identity to prevent fraudulent requests.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority, the CNIL — cnil.fr/en.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. As explained above, we do not sell or share personal information, we use no advertising or cross-site tracking, and we collect only the minimal data described here.
